Most people aren't going to do this, but at the very least pinch out your first bud. That said if your plugs arrive and you are not ready for them, I recommend bumping up into a 50 or 72 cell tray. It has very deep roots so even in the dry heat of summer it can find moisture deep in the soil to keep it growing and blooming. So, if you plant one out in the middle of summer, it's going to have so much light and such long days it's going to want to flower immediately, and it might flower on a really short stem. You know nitrogen produces leaves generally, and it's usually the nutrient that's in shortest supply. AS: OK, I think we're sort of winding down on the overall gist of the questions, but the next one is one of the hardest, and it kind of comes into how you grow, weeding.
